1) Class meets the conventions of a TV series drama as class as it has conventions such as dramatic music different camera angles and intense moments.
2) The conventions of science fiction that you can find in class is sonic weapons,aliens from different planets and monsters.
3) Other genres suggested by the film trailer is horror as at points you see glimpses of aliens a dark figure and someone being pulled away buy a creature.Another possible genre is romance as throughout the trailer you see people kissing and two people even kissing naked.
4) Doctor who appears in the end of the trailer for only a split second.
5) I believe the target audio for Class is mid teens as the science fiction in the series does not seem childish and the dialogue does not suit a young audience as they would be lost. Another reason why i suggest mid teens as there sexual scenes which would not be appropriate for a young audience but could possibly appeal for an older audience.

The other reference to Doctor who in the series aside from the doctor him self was the high school which was originally called coal hill high school in the 60s but as the series is set in 2016 a more modern world it has been changed to coal hill academy.
